A. Well, I'm married. I think that's pretty serious.

2) What was your dream growing up?
A. To be an astronaut and / or live on the moon.

3) What talent do you wish you had?
A. I wish I could sing well. I can hear varying notes very well, but I can't make my vocal cords repeat them.

4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
A. Pineapple & rum juice. Or a Black Russian.

A. I love my veggies... but I grew up in potato country so I'd have to say tatties!

A. "The Bone Garden"... can't recall the author.

7) What zodiac sign are you?
A. Gemini. I was born on the cusp though, so sometimes Taurus is more fitting.

8) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
A. Yes and yes. One tattoo on my right shoulder. Five piercings in total in both ears. Two even pairs, and one single piercing in the top of my left ear.

9) Worst Habit?
A. Biting my nails / cussing. Both have actually been curbed a great deal but I get my bad days amongst the many good ones.

10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?
A. If I drove, I would. Otherwise, I hope you're at a bus stop.

11) What is your favourite sport?
A. HOCKEY!

12) Do you have a Negative or Optimistic attitude?
A. I hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
A. Chat.

A. I've had a pretty normal life. Nothing major up to this point... it all seems so trivial.

A. I started wearing dentures when I was 7 years old.

A. A 10-y.o. diabetic cat named Trinket.

A. Cuppa and some snacks, with chatting in the living room.

A. Funny / charming. That's just in text. I have no idea what first impression I'd get if / when we meet in person. The same, I reckon.

A. I don't think they're either really. I don't adore them, but I don't dislike them. I'm very indifferent.

20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?
A. I'd be skinny.

A. Probably your conscience.

A. Green with flecks of brown.

A. No, but I did ride in the back of an RCMP cruiser once. :) (She needed directions, I was heading to the same place, so she gave me a ride!)

A. Pay off the credit cards, and buy plane tickets for Patrick and I to go to Oz in December.

A. When people don't clean up after themselves. I mean, it's one thing to be messy, but to be filthy? There's no excuse, I'm sorry. Have a little pride in the area you live / work. Geez...

A. Definitely.

A. I believe in deity. I do not believe that the dogma set out by Christianity.

A. I wish I could do long distance running! I used to do it as a teenager but I am now unfit!

A. No tattoos because I change my artistic ideas too often. Pierced ears.

A. Talking too much!

A. Definitely Optimistic.

A. Firstly I'd panic but then I'd try to take my mind of the fact that I was stuck in a lift by taking the opportunity to get to know more about you.

14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
A. Getting stuck in a lift about 9 months ago. The elderly man tried to take my mind off it by telling me jokes but every time we laughed he did a big body laugh and the lift slipped down a notch!

15) Tell me one weird fact about you.
A. I have a very high pain tolerance and when I was a child I didn't used to wake up if when the hot water bottle started to burn my feet!

A. No can't have pets where I live but I do love cats.

A. I'd be a bit weirded out seeing how I'd not be expecting you to be in the UK but seeing as you were on my doorstep I would invite you in. I'd ask you if you wanted a drink, put some music on in the background and then chat and enjoy getting to know you.

A. A really tough, kick ass security woman who made me laugh! LOL! (I think it took me about 6 of your posts for me to realise my mistake!)

A. neither - but I've never found them funny!

A. At the moment I could do with losing a stone in weight.

LOL! Interestingly enough, you would be far from the first person to have mistaken me for a woman from my journal style. In fact, I even recall a style analysis program firmly placing my journal as belonging to a woman. Weird that... :p

How do you get your quotes to be in italic in a comment? is it something you can only do with a paid account?

It's easier to do than describe, mostly 'cause if you show the proper use of the angle brackets, the commands disappear.

Here's a couple simple html instructions - just replace the regular brackets with the corresponding angle brackets (less-than/greater-than signs):

(I) At the beginning and (/I) at the end of a passage will put it into italics, whilst (B) will put a passage into bold. (/B)
