What to do with some unexpected time off?
Jun. 26th, 2004 11:27 amWell, class was effectively short today. Essentially, all we had to do was a bit of clean up and then arrange our pottery for grading. We had to leave by 10:30 so our instructor could grade in peace and then we have to come back at 1:30 to haul away as much as we can. We'll have till Friday to get the rest.
Overall, I'm satisfied with my work. In fact, one piece was apparently good enough that someone stole it (dag nabbit!). ( Read more... )
At least that bit of pressure is off for now. Next week I can focus on the job search. ( Read more... )
Though I signed up for courses next month and for the Fall, I'm actually quite loathe to return to school anytime soon (despite how interesting the courses seem to be). My options are open, though. If I can't pin down some work next week, I can always go back to the much abused student loan system to hold me up just a semester or two longer.
For now, I may as well kill off some time by sorting and packing. Gotta reduce the amount of crap that I own, especially if I wind up moving to a foreign land and have to put stuff into storage. Or I could play some more Planescape: Torment...
