I just came back from an evening spent with the woman I've been dating recently. She cooked a lovely dinner and we had a great time chatting, mostly about art. At certain parts of the evening, I did feel a yearning to touch and cuddle. I'm not sure if it's love or lust, but there *is* something that I'm feeling for her. Does love have to be instant fireworks? There are many who would claim not and even speak of a preference for a slowly stoked fire. Hmmm....

BTW, she keeps a really interesting space inside of a cozy bachelor suite. Really good Feng Shui!

As for other stuff, I sent off some applications for teaching positions within my school district, including one for an art teacher's position at the school in which I did my practicum. I don't actually expect to get either of these jobs, but one has to play the game if they wish to win. Besides, it's an opportunity to practice one's interview skills and to get oneself known by people in the district.

And I picked up some of my pottery from school so I could scan them for the pottery journal due Saturday. I had some great results with some of the experiments I tried. And I now have both a wonderful ceramic egg engraved with mehndi designs and beautiful Kiln Goddess (for luck in firing (grin)).

One day I'll actually have a website to display all this stuff with...
