Charity Rune Casting for Earth Day

I will be performing rune casting for charity beginning 12:00 AM (AST) and ending midnight on April 22nd. During that time period, if you purchase a charity v-gift (see the list of available ones below), and reply to this post with a link pointing to the profile for which it was purchased, I will consult the runes with a 3-stone draw to respond to a question you pose. The question can be for you or someone of your choosing. Please specify if you want the response to be delivered privately. I will be popping in and out through the course of the day to cast runes and respond to queries. (As this will be my first time doing this kind of event, I will be limiting my responses to the first 30 queries.)

As a bonus (and 'cause I want to support this particular charity on Earth Day) , for the first fifteen responders (NO DONATION NECESSARY), I will purchase one of the Gulf_Aid_Now v-gifts (with the cute seabird and turtle). (Make sure that your profile will accept v-gifts!) Heck, you don't even have to bring a donation and a question to receive one, just show up and say "Hi."

Retrospect (shortly after): Well, that didn't work out as planned...

There was two things supposed to be going on. 1) People showing up to say to receive a v-giftie (as my donation to a cause) and 2) people donating to a cause  to receive a three stone rune. Evidently, I wasn't clear enough in my explanation, as there were folk showing up to receive a v-giftie AND a three stone rune without the requirement of a donation. if I run another one of these in the future, I'll have to be more careful in explaining stuff.

I can't say I was expecting a huge turn out, but what interest I got, even from my own F-list, was far less than expected. Only a handful of folk bothered to show any interest in this. For those folk, I have purchased a Gulf_Aid_Now v-giftie, to support Gulf cleanup and relief efforts. As I really want to add more support, I'll be randomly selecting 10 other folk from my F-list to receive one. I'll also be performing a 3 stone draw for the folk that showed up, whether they donated or not, to show my appreciation for their interest.

Clearly, though, if I'm to do another one of these style events, I'll have to generate a LOT more awareness of the event with plenty of time in advance. Lesson learned.

Hoel (frustration/inner weakness), Odel (family), and Eoh (natural limitations) came up quite close together. Basically, the impression I got is that your family is/will help you as best they can, but there are some limitations to your current situation that you are not yet able to overcome and this will be a source of great frustration. However, dedication and diligent effort on your part may enable you to push back/eliminate some of these limitations at some point in the future. Some things, though, will just have to come in their own time. Sorry I couldn't give you better news. :( *hugs*

The rune most immediate to you was Ehwis. It was so immediate that it landed in my lap! This the symbol of the conscious calls and granting of aid. As it came out reversed, I received the impression that you've been asking for/needing this for a while. The reversed Wynn (here symbolizing wisdom) in the contributing/past position indicates that some sort of folly has kept you from getting this sooner. The good news, indicated by Eohl (here symbolizing blessings/success), though albeit some distance away (the stone landed fairly far from me), is that the operation will go well and bring you the relief you seek (though some patience in allowing time to heal may be needed). *healing hugs*
