My First Summer Seasonal Display!

Inspired, in part, by conversations with swankivy , I've decided to put some effort into maintaining seasonal displays. I've put up displays for specific seasonal holidays such as Samhain, Yule, and Ostara before, but I've never put up anything for Midsummer. That changed not long after my Midsummer stay at the beach.

Below is my first Summer seasonal display, featuring sea shells, gathered during my Midsummer vacation, and one very cute stuffed lobster toy:

The stuffed lobster toy is so cute! It makes the display very nice & fun. :-) The seashells are neat as well.

Yes, there was quite an amazing array of snail shells that washed up on the shore one morning after a particularly stormy night.

I think that the snail shells look unique; I would like to find some on a beach someday. Do you have any other summer displays in your home?

Get yourself out to enough beaches and I'm sure you'll find some lovely snail shells.

I'm still amazed that Russ was able to make a cute stuffed toy out of something as frackin' ugly as a lobster. :)
