(no subject)

I had a good sleep last night, though I had a weird, movie-esque dream about woods haunted by supernatural shapeshifting critters resembling, at times, little beast people. I think tis the result of watching Supernatural in combination with seeing too many of those strangely costumed midget wrestlers off the Nacho Libre ads.

I just had a really frustrating game of online Scramble that really makes me wish I had enough processing power to play online D&D. I need a new game to play.

Soon I'll have to pop into the shower and then, afterwards, head out for my bloodtest.

What did I do with a day all to myself?

Hmmm... Well, I got my bloodtest done (results Wednesday), went shopping (but didn't buy anything other than lunch (sushi from M&S)), found a lovely park downtown (hidden from view by all the retail buildings), found a field near home that I can use for running (if I so chose to), made my first e-bay purchase (one of those ab belt things), placed a bid for The Tick animated series, and found a couple of on-line suppliers of pear cider (whoot!).

Or at least in Europe, anyhow - I've just been checking out visa requirements for Canadian citizens entering potential holiday destinations such as France, Germany and Spain. It turns out we're good to enter with just our passports alone. That's one less hassle to worry about, should I decide to finally step foot on the continent.
