Nov. 16th, 2004 07:52 pmWell, this week has started off much better than last. Actually,
things have been improving since Friday, where I had possibly the best class ever with the year 9s, only two days after possibly having the worst. 'Course, they're running about average this week, but Monday and Tuesday have gone fairly smoothly. I've even managed to get home early the last couple of evenings (yay me!).
The weekend featured a hike up a lovely hill. It also featured another visit to the George & Dragon Pub and Thai Restaurant (love that place). I was feeling a little bit defeated and blue on Sunday, but that's gone away, especially with word that I may be receiving a raise after January (veteran's bonus?).
Today marks a good moment: I booked my tour of Stonehenge for Dec. 19(as near to the Solstice as was manageable). I'm really looking forward to that! I'll be in the inner circle itself for sunrise(again, yay me!). This will a very special moment for me. Now all I have to do is book a bed and breakfast for the evening before (the tour leaves London at 6 in the morning).
All in all, I'm feeling quite upbeat.
