My life sucks again...

...but just how bad I won't know for an indefinite period of time. Because I was refused permission to remain, the embassy has to contact the Home Office to have them send a copy of my case file. While I do not foresee me being denied my entry clearance and work visa (not to say that this isn't an impossibility (and the possibility eats at my nerves)), when I get it is now completely up in the air. The clerk couldn't give me any indication of how long it would take (though she did say that, if I did not hear word from them after two weeks, I am to call them). I don't know what I will do if this fiasco goes beyond two more weeks. (sigh...)

Any prayers, good thoughts, candles, etc., for a quick and positive resolution to this would be greatly appreciated.
