Today, I woke up at 5:30 in the morning; jet lag can be a weird thing. I should be doing something productive at this point, but I'm not quite in the mood yet. I miss my new flatmate (who's currently on her way to Jamaica (oh, and, yes, I have moved)), but at least I got back soon enough to spend some time with her on Friday and Saturday morning (yep, I did get up briefly to help her get ready and see her off, but that wasn't enough of a disruption to warrant freaking 3 o'clock in the afternoon). At some point, I should see to vacuuming the place, settling in a little, shopping for groceries, checking over my flatmate's year 10 reports for errors, and then starting in on my own reports. I wonder how much of that I'll actually get done.
UPDATE: I actually got a fair bit of that done. The place is vacuumed, the fridge stocked, a few things put away, and the flatmate's reports corrected. The only thing I didn't touch was my own reports. In amongst all that, I also learned the secret inner workings of my flatmate's vacuum (had to empty and clean it), spent a good deal of time on the net, and re-watched 'Time Bandits.' Okay, I also tried to watch a seventies horror film called 'Don't Look Now,' but bailed on it about half an hour in (pitiful development).
