Slow day...

I didn't get out to do much today, courtesy of the back. I didn't want to chance going far from home, as I didn't know much my back could take. So much of the day was spent at home consuming muscle relaxants. Still, it was a pleasant day, in spite of the pain. I got in about twenty minutes or so of brisk walking to get some groceries, then took a bus home (couldn't carry much far). I cooked up a nice stir fry, messed around on the computer a fair bit and enjoyed a couple of movies, Mean Creek and Signs. The latter was okay, but the former was well worth the watch. It deals with issues of bullying and peer pressure. The youthful comraderie depicted in it reminded me strongly of Stand By Me. However, be warned; this film is not the happiest and any tender hearts will likely need many tissues by the end of it.

And now, methinks 'tis time for bed...
