One of the many adventures that my girlfriend and I partook of, during our vacation to Toronto, was exploring Casa Loma, a grand structure styled upon European castles that was built by Canadian business visionary, Sir Henry Pellatt during the early 1900s.

Naturally, we took photos:

Teddy went, too, of course.

I love gargoyles...

... and other similar architectural embellishments.

Much of the castle was sumptuously appointed.

I especially love this atrium!

Some of the castle, like the inside of the turrets, was unfinished, though.

The dark, unfinished tower interiors made for some interesting shots, however.

The boys needed a rest after climbing all those stairs.

Lunch, like the castle itself, was impressive! (Yes, that's bacon in the hot dog.)

I'm pretty sure this bird was hoping to get a piece of that hot dog.

One last shot before leaving...
